minutes for EC Meeting on tue aug 28 2007 at 07:00 pm

Attending: Eric Sample, Joseph Daigle, Alli Hundley, Carlin Bright, Julie Dykas, Deech Madhaven, Dr. Bob Wood, Morgan Miller, Michael Lee, Lindsay Hankins

Business Manager (Alli Hundley) :

• Macbeth budget will be set after today.
• Bogus purchases on the P-Card. We will need to get a new one, which will be under closer watch. There will be more rules.
• Put out a call for a co-Coke Czar.

Production Manager (Joseph Daigle) :

• Day 3. 58 to go.
• Recore will be done very soon.

Marketing Director (Carlin Bright) :

• First MCM was yesterday. No one else was in attendance.
• Great ideas having been coming from people outside of meetings.
• Macbeth. Lots of blood.

* Secretary* (Julie Dykas) :

• Get office supply needs to her by this weekend.

MAL (Deech Madhaven) :

• No report. Elections tomorrow.

President (Eric Sample) :

• 365 plays in 365 days. We’re signed up for September 17th, but that won’t work for us so we won’t be able to participate.

Dr. Bob :

• Ad has to be approved by the Dean. That should be put through by the end of the week.
• Ad can be posted to Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts website and DT website. Open to suggestions on other print places.

Committees:

LTT! :

• Newbie workshops start next week.
• BBIF show schedule and workshops have been finalized.
• BBIF marketing stuff and t-shirts are being ordered.
• Still waiting on response from Gainsville Improv Festival

TSC :

• Recombo-ing soon.
• Working on fixing sewing machines. Will look into purchasing equipment for costumes (needles, etc.).

Historian (Morgan Miller) :

• Need to find a better way to hang the posters in the lobby. Suggestions are welcomed.

Old Business :

• What is the status of the lights, costumes, props class? Need to know how many to help with costumes.

New Business :

• Suggestion: Have some sort of after-show formal food/drink thing after Macbeth. This would be a cocktail party type-thing, perhaps with a raffle. This would be advertised as a meet and greet with the cast and crew.
• Friends of DT will be doing their reception the second Saturday of the run.
