minutes for Club Meeting on wed oct 10 2007 at 06:00 pm

Officers in Attendance: Eric Sample, Alli Hundley, Julie Dykas, Brad Knebel, Carlin Bright Officer Reports:

Business Manager (Alli Hundley) :

• Martha will be HM for Macbeth. If anyone wants to help with box office, concessions, or ushering, there will be a sign up sheet tomorrow.

Production Manager (Joseph Daigle) **:

• Not present, no report.

Marketing Director (Carlin Bright) :

• Marketing for Macbeth going well.
• Lots of help needed. List of help needed is in stairwell, also fliers after meeting.
• Scott can use help with painting billboard.

Secretary (Julie Dykas) :

• Meeting minutes are in hallway, also online.

MAL (Brad Knebel) :

• If you’re not involved with Macbeth, please sign up for run crew or box office. It’s a big show, everyone should get involved.

President (Eric Sample) :

• If you are interested in performing in a Diversity Day event on November 7, 7:00pm, (something that expresses your culture or diversity), talk to Eric for contact information.

Committee Reports

Historian (Morgan Miller) :

• Not present, no report.

LTT!:

• Gainsville Improv Fest this weekend. There should still be workshops this weekend.

Social Futon:

• Two events this weekend: Film Festival (including Jonathon and Matt Carol’s film) and Merry Wives of Windsor (with Katie, Erin, and Adam) which is a charity event, so bring cans.
• Halloween Cocktail Party after Macbeth. Contact Alli or Sofia.

PRC

• Looking to do shows we’ve never done before.
• Not accepting any more plays now.

TSC

• Emphasis should be back by the time Macbeth opens.

Old Business

• Artistic Director Search: Ad is pretty much approved, is working its way up the ranks.
• Hasn’t been time to make progress on façade.

New Business :

• Tentative date for Costume Dock Upheaval/Extravaganza. All costumes will be removed, shelves will be repaired, costumes will be sorted and some thrown out. November 17th is the tentative date. The more people come, the less time it will take. Please come. Finalized date next meeting.
• Email socialfuton@lists.dramatech.org with suggestions.
• If anyone is interested in small, paid lighting design job, talk to him after the meeting.
• Jonathon is filming a movie on Saturday, anyone interested in acting, lighting, camera, or anything else, talk to him.
