Officer Reports:
Business Manager (Alli Hundley) :
- the SGA budget has been turned in, and interviews begin in November
Production Manager (Joseph Daigle) :
- Macbeth opens next Friday. It’s going fine but there is a lot of work and a lot of help is needed. We still need a spot op and two grips.
- Next Wednesday we will put up risers. The front row and angles will be put up Sunday.
- VT is going fine.
Marketing Director (Carlin Bright) :
- Marketing is going well. Spray chalk is cool.
- Chalking should happen soon, and again after the meeting risers go up.
- Looking to book Yellow Jacket park for fight rehearsals during the run.
- Really good press release was written. Technique ads are set until November 9th.
- Album 88 and NPR should also have ads.
- Postering will have to be done again once Homecoming is over.
- Sign up sheet should posted for actor availability for fliering
Secretary (Julie Dykas) :
President (Eric Sample) :
- Attended a meeting for the Presidents’ Council Governing Board (President from every club) last Thursday.
MAL (Brad Knebel) :
Dr. Bob Wood :
- The ad has been placed, the search has begun.
- Ad is posted online with ACPA. A copy can be posted on the DT webpage as well. (Secretary will be in charge of that.)
- Things will start being read on November 1.
- Still need to figure out which two students should be on the committee.
- New AD will probably start next academic year.
Committee Reports:
TSC:
- The Singer Sewing Machine broke last week. A replacement part has been ordered.
- The J. C. Penney sewing machine has been fixed.
- We have a substitute Emphasis, our own is not back yet. The motherboard is fried.
- After Macbeth the Costume Dock will be cleaned, the Props Dock will be purged, and a Costume Workshop will be set up.
- The winch is officially dead until the repairman comes.
- Part ordered for panel saw
- Snap screen is back.
- New blade in chop saw.
Historian (Morgan Miller) :
- Proof poster has been received, as has Lion in Winter. One more Proof poster is needed.
- Everything is due to library at Thanksgiving.
LTT!:
- Attended GIF last weekend. Were well received.
- Show after Macbeth every Friday.
- Registering for DSIF.
- Newbie show might be pushed back due to lack of attendance at Newbie Workshops.
PRC
- Short list of plays and musicals has been chosen for next year.
Old Business:
- There was a proposal to either give more responsibilities to MAL or disband the position. .
- MAL could be put in charge of social events (with the Social Futon under them.) We will discuss with the MAL before bringing it up to the club.
New Business:
- Where is the line drawn for a non GT student for club business?
- Either a policy should be drawn up or a policy made on a case-by-case basis.
- Proposal that non-GT students not be allowed on committees or not have votes on committees.
- Discussion on this.
- Rocky would like to purchase a smaller piano from Guitar Hero for easier transportation. This would probably be about $400. This would be used just for rehearsal, not shows. Needs to be discussed with Business Manager.
- PRC has discussed putting on a short, simple show in the spring. It would help give the non-musical people something to do and would be in lieu of the AD show. PRC suggests presenting the club with a list of possible shows at the next club meeting.
- Thinking of doing a Greek night for the show to get fraternities and sororities to come. The last Thursday would probably be the best night. Perhaps $1 off for everyone wearing Greek paraphernalia.
