minutes for EC Meeting on tue nov 20 2007 at 07:00 pm
In Attendance: Eric Sample, Joseph Daigle, Alli Hundley, Carlin Bright, Julie Dykas, Dr. Bob Wood, Morgan Miller, Lindsey Hankins, Brad Wells
Officer Reports:
Business Manager (Alli Hundley) :
- Purchase of the design computer has been approved. Brad W. will be put in charge of purchasing it.
- VT is good to go.
- Urinetown rights are still in progress.
Production Manager (Joseph Daigle) :
- There is a Musical Director for Urinetown.
- Still need a Director, Choreographer, and Accompanist.
- Considering hiring an LD.
- Sunday will be an important work party for VT/LTT!
- Dead Week Dinner will occur.
Marketing Director (Carlin Bright) :
- Doing publicity for VT/LTT! Any assistance would be appreciated.
Secretary (Julie Dykas) :
President (Eric Sample) :
- It’s pretty much the end of the semester. There is one more club meeting, we need to remember to mention next semester’s elections.
- Would like to have elections ASAP in order to give more time to train new EC members. Nominations will open the first club meeting of Spring semester.
Technical Director (Brad Wells) :
- Emphasis is back.
- Board has gone in to be re-buttoned.
- Now that Macbeth is over, the costume workshop and shop sink installation can be worked on.
Dr. Bob Wood :
- Went over the ten local applicants. There are five who will hopefully be telephone interviewed. The candidates are well qualified.
- Would like a list of questions to ask the candidates. Send them to secretary@dramatech.org.
- State of the façade is uncertain.
Committee Reports:
Historian (Morgan Miller) :
- Stuff will be turned into the library next Friday. They will come pick it up.
LTT!:
- Improvathon was last weekend. It was awesome. Great attendance.
- There will be preview on Wednesday of VT/LTT! That’s Aubrie’s Birthday Show, so they will do what she wants (ie, Head in a Bucket).
Social Futon:
- Going bowling tonight.
- Still planning something for the first night of VT/LTT!
- Nothing during Dead Week/Finals
- Already planning next semester.
PRC:
- PRC is now divided up into who is reporting on which show(s).
- Shows will be presented to the show in Marchish.
Old Business:
- Eric would like to put together a committee for improvements that can be made to the theater. No updates.
New Business:
- Need to mention next semester’s elections next club meeting!!
